Matt Tyburski, CPA
Matt is Baseline’s president. He joined the company in mid-2014 and is based out of the company headquarters in Golden.
Sarah is originally from Indianapolis, IN and graduated from Ball State University. She relocated to Denver in the spring of 2015 and met her husband Michael. She is a serious plant nerd and would love to discuss about your yard so don’t be afraid to ask!
Linda has volunteered with Engineering Ministries International (headquartered in Colorado Springs) and traveled with them to work on projects in Vladivostok, Russia and Kampala, Uganda.
Steve is a Colorado native who has enjoyed working on many projects contributing to the growth of Colorado Springs, including one of his favorites, the multi-phased expansion of the United States Olympic Training Center.
Steve has been an engineer in the land development industry for over 20 years and has made it his passion to develop quality designs that reflect well on the company.
Mike is an experienced engineer with over 34 years of experience. He was born and raised in Iowa, where he ended up graduating from Iowa State University. He and his wife first relocated to Steamboat Springs, Colorado about 27 years ago.
Rob is a farm boy from eastern Colorado turned into a city-guy with over 18 years of experience in engineering. In addition to his career, he enjoys all activities in the mountains as well as watching or playing sports.
A Colorado native! Sean was born in Westminster and has been around the area for most of his life. He graduated from the University of Wyoming in December of 2018 with a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering.
Morgan has civil engineering experience in a variety of land development projects. She has worked on oil and gas projects, commercial and residential developments, and public projects such as community solar gardens.
Troy is originally from Central Florida and chose to relocate to Colorado in the summer of 2016. His educational background is in construction management and large-scale residential land development, with an emphasis in water resources. He is passionate about the outdoors and enjoys a “work hard, play hard” attitude.
After Richie’s career in the Army, he pursued a degree in Environmental Engineering at Humboldt State University in California. Throughout his undergrad studies, he spent three years working with CalTrans in Maintenance Design where he assisted with project delivery and construction.
Bryan has been married to his high school sweetheart for nearly 30 years and together they raised two adult sons in Alaska and Colorado. As a kid growing up in Utah, he always wanted to live in Colorado, and now he can finally say that he does!
Julie worked for Las Campanas Real Estate Development in Santa Fe before moving to Wisconsin where she was Planning Assistant for the City of Janesville for 12 years.
Kortney is originally from Petoskey, Michigan and received her undergraduate degree in Interior Architecture from Lawrence Technological University. She hopes to use her education and personal experience to advocate for more equitable and inclusive designs within the built environment.
Vince has an awesome wife of 35 years, and three grown boys who are doing well in their careers. He loves to take time off from work and play on vacation usually dealing with water or warm weather.
Tez is originally from Ferguson/St. Louis, Missouri and moved to Colorado in 2015 seeking opportunity and adventure. Tez’s passion for the land use planning profession is derived from his upbringing in a low-income minority community.
Jason is from Western Nebraska and eventually relocated to Colorado in 1998. In his free time, he enjoys boating, cruising, motorcycling, kickboxing, and tackling home improvement projects.
Jayme’s responsibilities at Baseline include processing and drafting files that come from and go out to the field. He primarily works on oil and gas certifications along with various other survey projects.
Duncan has worked within the surveying industry since 2013, both in the field and in the office. He graduated from California Polytechnic University Pomona with a degree in Civil Engineering with the Geospatial Engineering Option.
Tim was born and raised to an agricultural family central Montana. He attended college at Gonzaga University, and moved to the Yampa Valley in 1998. For years, he worked at a Nordic lodge grooming trails, and pursued his passion for skiing.
Misti is a Colorado native and has over 30 years of writing experience. Her professional portfolio includes marketing, business development, and public outreach.
Chris and his wife have two amazing daughters together. He loves spending time in Colorado outdoors, whether he’s hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, or playing disc golf.
Jake grew up in Loveland, Colorado and continues to call it his hometown. In his free time he enjoys finding new camping spots with his family, somewhere where only off-road vehicles can go, and spending time with his pet Corgi named Copper.
From modeling, to design and then through the permitting process, Matt is ready to meet your stream, river, street drainage and drainage crossing needs.
Born and raised in Colorado, Doug’s surveying career began in 1995. He has worked on projects throughout the state, conducting surveys for the public and private sectors.
Michael is originally from Wyoming and has lived in Denver for the past 12 years. He has an architectural engineering degree and passed the Professional Engineering Exam in 2013.
Alan’s worked on a variety of engaging projects, professionally and personally. since graduating in 2015 and hopes to continue to build new things moving forward.
Matt started surveying after he graduated from high school. He has worked in various divisions throughout different industries such as civil, oil, and mining.
Luke was born and raised in Colorado and moved to the Denver area after graduating from Colorado State University. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family camping, hunting, fishing or tackling home projects.
Todd is originally from Wyoming, but eventually moved to Fort Collins where he attended college at CSU. Upon graduating, he immediately went to Japan (where he lived for seven years) to begin a career in teaching. In his free time, he enjoys an occasional hike, videogames and creating new stuff on his 3D printers.
Brenda has lived most of her life on the East Coast. She moved to Colorado in 2018 to be closer to her family. She graduated from Johnson & Wales University. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, crocheting, and doing outdoor activities!
Phillip was born in Maine and raised in Virginia. He served 3 years in the Army as a Cavalry Scout stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas and was later deployed to Sinjar, Iraq in 2009.
Cody is originally from Columbus, Ohio and studied Environmental Engineering at Ohio State University. After college, he co-founded a non-profit organization and crisscrossed the continental U.S. to film a documentary series showcasing compelling climate change/environmental stories.
Jordan moved to Golden in 2015 and enjoys running, biking, and most other outdoor sports. He has worked with land development, transportation, drainage, and construction inspection projects.
Before coming to Baseline, Liam worked as a forester, completing many contracts across the country. His educational background began with a bachelor’s degree in conservation biology with a focus on dendrology.
Kaitlin has worked in a variety of industries as a geologist, and is passionate to share her love of the science with others. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband to visit National Park sites and international destinations.
Lauren became interested in urban planning after studying abroad in Beijing. She earned a GIS certificate from University of Colorado Denver and still loves using GIS in planning whenever possible.
Laura graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering at the age of 20 from the lnstituto Tecnologico de Nogales in Mexico, where she is originally from. She has been a Civil Engineer ever since then and has more than 14 years of experience in the construction industry.
Chris was born and raised in Houston, Texas, the oldest of five kids. Now, he loves living a small mountain town and spending time with his wife and two kids.
Hannah is a recent graduate from Colorado School of Mines. She is passionate about wastewater and upgrading old infrastructure to new and sustainable infrastructure, to support a better future for everyone. In her free time she is an avid adventure sport junky!
Mark has 19 years of experience in the construction industry. He has held various roles over the years such as project coordinator/engineer, project manager, superintendent, and environmental/stormwater management and inspector.
Cameron is a Colorado native currently living blocks away from the hospital he was born at. He graduated from University of Colorado in Boulder with a degree in Civil Engineering and has been working in the industry throughout the front range for 6 years.
Kellen was born and raised in Pennsylvania and eventually made his way to Fort Collins, Colorado where he attended college at Colorado State University. In his free time, he enjoys working on cars, hiking 14ers, camping, fishing, hunting, driving through the mountains, and pretty much anything else that has to do with being outside!
Ben is a land use planner with over 20 years of experience in the public and private sectors. He relocated from Wisconsin to Colorado in 1999 with his family, but somehow his skiing experience is still limited to the iced hills of Wisconsin.
Isaac was born and raised in the Fort Collins area of Colorado and has always wanted to be involved with infrastructure development throughout that region of the state. His grandfather developed a large part of southwest Fort Collins and his dad was a builder.
James been in the civil engineering industry for around six years. working as a surveyor. He grew up in Cheyenne, Wyoming and moved back west after living most of the last 20 years in St. Louis, Missouri.
During his time studying civil engineering at Colorado State University, he developed a passion for infrastructure and transportation design. Garrett hopes to combine his engineering passions and experiences to contribute and learn with Baseline.
Lan is very detailed-oriented in his work, he’s capable of working independently with minimum supervision and is committed to providing high-quality service.
Lachlan was born and raised in Fort Collins and has family all over Colorado. After graduating high school, he attended Front Range Community College to explore career interests. There he discovered CAD and the greater discipline of civil engineering and design.
