Wrapping Up 2021Last year, Baseline started the tradition of our 3-part Holiday Challenge. This December, we brought the challenge back to ensure that we incorporated all key aspects of the holiday season.

The first part of this challenge, gift donations, was sponsored by Baseline for Community (B4C). Each office location selected a different organization to donate to: Salvation Army Angel Tree in Loveland, Gilpin County Wish List in Black Hawk, and the El Paso County Senior Assistance Program in Colorado Springs. This year we were able to donate to more than 20 families in our surrounding communities.Wrapping Up 2021

The second part of the challenge was to create-your-own holiday ornament using clear plastic bulbs that open and close, allowing for décor inside. This year’s theme for decoration was travel; participants were asked to creatively depict their dream vacation, post-pandemic adventure plans, favorite place they’ve ever visited, or anything else in between.Wrapping Up 2021

Thirdly, we brought back our holiday recipe book. We asked everyone to gather their favorite cookie recipes, bake with their loved ones, and then submit their recipe and photos. The most festive, most creative, and most appetizing cookies were voted upon and awarded prizes.

Lastly, in December, we also held a well-deserved pizza party celebration for the Colorado Springs office. As our 2021 Turkey Cup Winners, they were awarded the trophy and a delicious lunch to congratulate them on their outstanding donations.

Wrapping Up 2021While reflecting on 2021, the last couple of months in particular were filled with lots of crafting, giving, and fun. As we look forward to 2022, we want to wish everyone a prosperous New Year filled with good-health and joy. We are extremely thankful for our team and all our partners and supporters that helped us through this year which was filled many unexpected challenges. We look forward to another year of working on amazing projects with incredible people. Happy New Year!
