Baseline is built by and for our employee-owners who are the driving force behind our success. As we continue to make our way into 2022, we wanted to welcome some of these new owners to our leadership team, who will be pivotal to the company. One of these new members is Bryan Epley, as operations manager.
Bryan was born and raised in Utah. He has been married to his high school sweetheart for the last 28 years and they have two sons together. Their oldest son is twenty-five years-old and works for a logistics company in Denver, and their eighteen-year-old son is headed off to college next fall where he may continue his football career. Along with spending time with his family, some of Bryan’s favorite past-times include: running, road and mountain biking, skiing, hiking, hunting, camping, RVing, and smoking meats.
Leading up to his career, Bryan graduated from Weber State University in Utah with a degree in business administration management, hoping it would give him flexibility in his career. He worked his way through college by spending the spring, summer, and fall seasons in the trades, and the winters as a ski technician. Following college, he worked for 10 years at Contech, a civil and site development manufacturer and supplier. Within Contech, he progressed from manufacturing management in Hillsboro, Oregon through general management of manufacturing and sales business in Alaska.
Eventually, Bryan stepped away from that industry to pursue a career in real estate in Girdwood, Alaska for about 16 years. He progressed from sales consultant to franchise ownership, where he ultimately sold the company and stayed on as a consultant for a couple of years. In Colorado, he has performed some consulting work for a couple of trade companies and most recently was the director of franchise development for Realty ONE Group. In addition to these roles, he has a lot of experience volunteering as a member of the National Ski Patrol for 28 years and coaching youth football.
Upon reflection of his diverse career, Bryan cherishes the relationships that he has built. The majority of his lifelong friendships have come from his work experience, particularly in real estate, and he keeps in touch with many people whom he worked with 25 years ago.
In looking ahead, Bryan is excited to take the broad range of experiences he has gained from two very different careers and volunteer positions and put those experiences to work for Baseline. He has missed this industry and will particularly enjoy being a part of so many facets of the business, as well as playing a role in making Baseline an even better company. As Bryan continues to learn more about Baseline and its employees, he becomes more and more confident that he will be a great fit here. We couldn’t agree more— we are thrilled to have him on our team and can’t wait to see the impact that he will make. Welcome Bryan!
