Baseline was retained to remedy Mill Creek’s copper corrosion issue and design a new water treatment plant. This plant utilizes ultrafiltration, roughing and calcite filters to deliver pure water, as well as minimize operation and maintenance costs. Baseline worked with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to design microturbines into the system and turn the water treatment facility into the US’ first net-zero energy system. The facility has over 450 feet of net elevation change.
