Position Title: Project Engineer – Water/Wastewater
Reports To: Division Manager
FLSA Status: Full-Time, Exempt
Department: Engineering
Location: Golden, CO

General Summary: Project engineer/manager provides office support of water and wastewater facility and ancillary system design from calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports.

Essential Functions:

  • Supports water and wastewater facility design by completing calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports
  • Supports projects in hydraulic designs, modeling, and construction administration services
  • Project design work also includes site grading, drainage, and site utilities

Job Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of civil engineering experience preferred.
  • Experience in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, MS Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must have the ability to recognize and re-prioritize direction and priorities from many different people.

Salary Range:

  • $65,000.00 – $80,000.00

Education or Formal Training:

  • Formal CAD training/coursework required.
  • Bachelors of Science in Engineering.
  • EIT license preferred.
