Baseline for Community (B4C) recently sponsored a Thanksgiving Food Drive — resulting in donating 475 lbs of non-perishable items to three different food bank programs: Food Bank of the Rockies, Food Bank for Larimer County, and LiftUp Routt County. To make things a little interesting, we ran a healthy office competition among our four offices: Golden, Loveland, Denver, and Steamboat Springs to see which office could bring in the most donations. Our contest was based on the number of items donated per office employee count. The competition became fierce and ran neck to neck. In the end, the Golden office came in ahead and won the honor of Top Turkey and will receive the Turkey Cup and a pizza party. The prestigious Turkey Cup will reside in our Golden office throughout 2019 and will travel offices based on who wins subsequent Thanksgiving Food Drive competitions. In addition, Baseline “matched” the food donation with a $500 donation to the Food Bank of the Rockies for the winning office!
