After Richie’s career in the Army, he pursued a degree in Environmental Engineering at Humboldt State University in California. Throughout his undergrad studies, he spent three years working with CalTrans in Maintenance Design where he assisted with project delivery and construction. Since graduating from college, he has decided to focus on engineering projects related to drinking water treatment and transmission, as well as flood control and water resources. In Richie’s free time, he enjoys writing, playing, and recording music, backpacking, mountain biking, and traveling.
