U.S. News 100 Best Jobs of 2013 ranks occupations offering a strong combination of employment opportunity, salary, work-life balance and security. Civil Engineers earned slot #26 on the list. According to the report, a main reason is that the Bureau of Labor Statistics is projecting a healthy employment growth of 19.4 percent by 2020.
